Through blogs by me and others, I want to build a place for sharing and discussing thoughts and contemplations, as an echo to the many voices in science. After obtaining my Bachelor\u2019s degree in Biology at the Ricardo Palma University, I moved to the Netherlands to perform the Master\u2019s program&nbsp;<i>Molecular Mechanisms of Diseases<\/i>. Through internships in the Netherlands and in USA, I strengthened my knowledge in molecular biology and human genetics, and their application to research of human diseases. I later applied this knowledge into translational research in genitourinary cancers during my Ph.D. trajectory at the department of Urology from the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences.
